Been once and food was nice and staff offered to cut up food so it was easier to eat as I was holding my baby.Next experience was trying to get push chair in the door with another friend also with pushchair to be told there was no where to put pushchairs even if they were folded down and was asked to leave as it would block other tables despite no one else being there. Summary is that its not child friendly place and the word has spread amongst baby groups now. Wont be going back. Place next door moved furniture out the way to accommodate.
We held my husband's private 60th birthday party here and everything was perfect! The meal was excellent - clean plates all round and the room layout meant we could talk to all our guests (19) easily. The whole experience was first class.
Go here regularly. Always delicious food and great service. Been to one of the monthly evening night's tonight and it was utterly delightful
Excellent food brilliant service that's the positive. Draught under the door gave my wife cold ankles. Real ale in bottles shouldn't be served ice cold. The room needs some soft furnishings to deaden the noise of people talking. Those were the negatives.
Lovely little caf with an immaculate interior and a modern but cosy feel. We've been for lunch several times now and haven't been disappointed yet. The menu is relatively small but everything is extremely good quality, including omelettes cooked to order. Service is fast and friendly, and prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended, and it's worth ringing ahead for a reservation.
